My E-ring and Wedding Band
My e-ring and wedding band were purchased from Mervis Diamond, rated "Best Place to Buy a Diamond" by the Washington Post. They are an amazing jeweler. My settings are from Coast Diamond; they're both platinum and hand engraved. It's exactly what I wanted. My center diamond is a 1.5-carat rectangular radiant cut, which I absolutely love!

FI's Wedding Band
FI and I originally thought we'd get him a fairly basic platinum band. But he started hearing more about tungsten carbide rings, and he wanted to check them out. Tungsten rings are virtually indestructible and scratch proof. They are polished with a diamond compound, resulting in a polish and shine that last forever.
We were able to look at the entire line of tungsten rings at our jeweler's (Mervis Diamonds), and FI really loved this one, which is 6mm wide. FI said it's really comfortable, and he knew right away that he wanted it. So, we decided that we'd just go ahead and order both our wedding bands that day!
