Misc. Attire

I wore a Vineyard Vines seersucker dress for my bridal shower. It has the cutest sash that ties in the back!

This is the dress I'm wearing for our rehearsal dinner. The top is cotton with a racerback, and the shirt is chiffon ruffles. Now I just need to find the perfect accessories :)

Veil

My veil is from Jennifer Leigh, and it's called the "Peace2." (SEE PICS ABOVE THIS.) I considered making my own, but I'm not super crafty, and I didn't want to deal with the hassle. I just ordered it and haven't had much luck finding it online, but you can see it in the pictures above. It's longer than my dress, which has a semi-cathedral train, and it's just a plain cut edge. Seems simple, right? Yet it cost $195. Suuurriously.

I tried on two other veils, but they didn't make the cut. The first (below left) was pretty, and I LOVE lace, but it felt too Spanish to me. And the ribbon edging (below right) was also pretty, but it just didn't give me that feeling like the first one did.

Pardon my horrid facial expressions in the pics... I look like someone ran over my dog, no? :)

Shoes

I LOVE my shoes! They're from Hey Lady, which is supposedly the most  comfortable shoe out there. That's good, because I plan on wearing them all night! :)

Bracelet and Earrings

I freaking LOVE the bridal jewelry from Haute Bride! They're expensive, but I think they're worth it :)  I won't be wearing a necklace, so I want to make a statement with my other jewelry.

Dress Label and Handkerchief

I'm having a dress label made for my dress, and a handkerchief made for FI. My label has light blue thread (my "something blue"), and FI's handkerchief has black thread. I ordered these from My Mother Mary on Etsy; her prices are very reasonable, and her reviews are great!

Bridesmaids

My BMs have decided on a dress they like! It's from Bill Levkoff, and the color is petal pink. These pictures are from a girl I know, who wore the same dress in a wedding she was in. I'm glad I saw her pictures and asked where they got their dresses! :)

Men's Attire
We are renting our tuxes from Savvi Formal Wear in Maple Grove, Minnesota.  They were SUPER awesome to work with -- we went in not knowing what we wanted, and we left feeling great about our decisions.

The guys will be wearing tone-on-tone tuxes, so they will have a subtle pinstripe while still maintaining the elegance of a tux.  Also, all the guys are wearing an ivory shirt an a black vest, except FI, who will be wearing an ivory vest. I personally hate colored vests -- I feel like it's very "prom." So the only difference among their attire will be the color tie they wear -- ivory for FI; very pale pink for groomsmen, ushers (and my Man of Honor); and black for the dads. All the guys will have light pink pocket squares, except FI, who will have an ivory pocket square.
